SSM-Faribault

Faribault Woolen Mill blanketsAmaBlu bleu cheese. Tilt-a-Whirl. What do these three things have in common? They all have their roots in Faribault, Minnesota!

Named for the French fur trader Alexander Faribault, the town where Shattuck-St. Mary’s calls “home” is located on the Straight River in southern Minnesota. Faribault is a calm, peaceful rural community with a steady population of 25,000 people. It is within a 50 minute drive of the Twin Cities and a well-connected international airport.

Faribault is also home to the Minnesota State Academy for the Blind and the State Academy for the Deaf, which is situated between the Upper and Middle School campuses.
