Vocal Performance

The Vocal Performance Program at Shattuck-St. Mary’s is a comprehensive, classical, and foundational music education centered around ensemble excellence and individual performance opportunities.  



Whether you are looking to pursue music as a career, or hoping to set yourself apart from other university applicants, the Vocal Performance Program (VPP) will prepare you for what lies ahead. Students in the VPP receive individualized training in voice and piano, sing with one of our amazing choirs, and perform all over the country in a variety of settings. 

Performance opportunities include:

  • Annual musical theater productions

  • Weekly chapel services with special music performances
  • On and off campus holiday concerts
  • Performances with Minnesota Opera’s Project
    Opera program
