November 12, 2020

On Wednesday, Nov. 11, 19 Shattuck-St. Mary’s student-athletes made their commitment to play their respective sports at the next level as they signed their NCAA National Letters of Intent to play at the Division I or II levels.

In separate ceremonies due to COVID-19 guidelines, members of the hockey, soccer, and golf Centers of Excellence programs signed their name on the dotted line as a small group of coaches, teammates, and parents looked on.

“We are very proud of our Shattuck-St. Mary’s students for making a commitment to the school of their choice,” stated SSM athletic director, Michele Cornish. “With so many unknowns in the world right now, these SSM student-athletes have proven themselves to be incredibly resilient. They chased their dream of playing collegiate athletics and found a way to make it happen.”

From universities not far from the SSM campus, to ones across the country, the Sabre athletes committed to 18 different institutions recognized in the NLI Signing Day program, with today being the first day student-athletes can officially commit in writing to their 2021 schools through signing an NLI.

Those who signed NLIs included:
