Family and Pets

I am originally from the Twin Cities, and most of my family still lives in Minnesota and Wisconsin. My husband and I have two cats.

Favorite Place on Campus

Newhall Auditorium. Our school is so lucky to have this beautiful, historic auditorium where we congregate several times a week. The wood paneling and bright stained-glass windows give the space a distinctive feel and remind us of our school’s long history.

Favorite Book

Les fleurs du mal by Charles Baudelaire

Why I love to teach

As a college student, I was inducted into the National French Honor Society Pi Delta Phi and I took an oath to propagate the French language and the cultures of French-speaking nations; I still consider this to be my life mission. I also love working with young people and watching them grow and mature.  I am happiest in my job when I have a lot of time spent with students. Teaching French is the perfect job for me!

Doing research, going to museums, watching movies, refinishing furniture, and spending time with my family.
